The Journey of a Thousand Miles Begins with a Single Stepper

Hi. I’m Stepper.

Yes, that’s really what my people call me. But that’s not why we’re here (If you want the story behind the name, check out my personal blog).

I just started the Take Shape for Life program for optimal health, beginning with the fascinating 5&1 meal replacement program. My curiosity about the program began just before I became pregnant with my fourth. I couldn’t begin the program while pregnant, but was excited by the idea that maybe with TSFL’s help, this time I might be able to lose the baby weight more quickly, more effectively, and ALL OF IT.

So I kept tabs with the health coach who introduced me to the program, joined the Facebook group, read the books and learned all I could about it for close to a year until one week ago—when my daughter turned 4 weeks old—and I officially took the leap.

The thing I noticed during my near-year of eager waiting to take back control of my health was that while there was plenty of information about how and why the program works, there was very little out there about what it’s like to be on the program.

That’s where I come in!

Here I will share my journey as it happens: what it’s like to be on the program, the nitty-gritty on what’s happening to my bod, tips and tricks for playing around with the meal replacements, recipes for Lean and Green and all sorts of other fun facts about what it’s like to be a loser!

So whether you’re on the plan and looking for ideas or just curious about what it’s all about like I was, please feel free to stop by for virtual hang-outs often!
